Trustees Annual Report

The purpose of the Civilian Trustees Committee is to undertake such duties as are laid down in the regulations for the Air Training Corps and in accordance with the Notes of Guidance to Civilian Committees, as approved by the Air Cadet Council.

Such purposes include :

Accounting for both public and non-public funds.

Providing advice and practical assistance in dealing with any welfare problems that might arise among the cadets.

Recommending additional cadet activities to the Squadron Commander, so that the aims of the ATC may be met in full.

Giving support and help to the Squadron Commander and staff, by showing interest in cadet activities, and by meeting and talking to cadets.

Providing or arranging support in terms of finance, facilities and negotiations with local authorities or other bodies or individuals to support any additional cadet activities.

The squadron has its own charity status and its funds are therefore administered in accordance with Charity Commission regulations.

The Annual General Meeting of 2469 (Exeter St Thomas) Squadron Civilian Trustees takes place every year in late April.

At this meeting the Annual Report is presented, giving details and information on the activities and accounts for the preceding year.
