Squadron Sponsored Walk
On a bright sunny day in October 2003, some of the cadets from the squadron set out to walk the coastal footpath from Beer to Exmouth, and then to walk the road from Exmouth to Exeter. A total journey of 50 kilometres !!
But not being just content to complete the walk, they decided they would do it in under 12 hours !
The reason for this walk was to raise funds for the purchase of a squadron mini-bus, beacuse the bus we owned had reached the end of its life - and was consigned to the local scrap merchant !
And by the time the walk was finished, and the money counted, we had raised almost £2,000.
