Site Info:
Destiny Skies officially opened its doors on April 30, 2007, so it's fairly new. My site aims to showcase quality fanfiction, and all sorts of other information about anime. In short, you won't find graphics in this site, since the content are mostly readables.

The Layout
The layout featuring Rukawa from Slam Dunk is the first one I've ever made. Since I don't have PhotoShop, the end result turned out to be pretty simple. It's wintry and a little sad at the same time. I like it a lot since it features my favorite colors and one of my favorite anime characters of all time, the walking block of ice Rukawa from Slam Dunk.

Name: Darlyn a.k.a Crystal Jade. 

Location: Philippines, the land of coconut trees and hot summers. Hehe. I'm feeling poetic today.

Age: 16

Year Level: College freshman.

Favorite Anime:
Fruits Basket. The love triangle between Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru is one of my favorites. Slam Dunk. It's hilarious and the basketball games featured in the anime just kept me at the edge of my seat.

Favorite Authors:
Stephen King and Meg Cabot are two of my favorite authors--though I believe the former is leagues ahead of the latter. Stephen King's book On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft is my favorite book of all time. Isabel Allende's Eva Luna is pretty good too. 

Favorite Movies:
I like 80's movies like The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. Tim Burton movies are also among my favorites, the Corpse Bride and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are awesome.

Favorite Bands:
I like music by Fall Out Boy. Sugar We're Going Down is pure genius.

What Else?
