Sentinel, Wis.
April 11th, 1875

Dear friend Nelson,

I received your very welcome letter this evening and I am very glad that you are enjoying good health.

I can say that I feel the best now and have for the last week that I have for a long time. and my heart is still full of love for my blesid [sic] savior and I hope and trust it always will be.

oh Nelson I wish that you were here to knight [sic] for all of the folks has gon [sic] to bed except myself and it seames [sic] quite lonesome but oh it doesn't seam [sic] so lonesome as it would if I had not found my savior and he has blesed [sic] me today while I sat and listened to brother Mc..nn..s preaching.

I was over to your folks today with Orvil and they was well except babies teeth asked some they had a good meeting there today.

Well I can't write mutch [sic] more this time for it is about one o'clock now.

I will write you a longer one next time and I think I will send you my picture with it and I want yours

write as soon as you get...

Good bye for a short time.
