Gnoll Pond

Gnoll pond is situated on the outskirts of Neath in the middle of the Gnoll Country Park.

The water is around 15 acres in size and fishable on two sides, with several
pegs for anglers. The water was originally an ornamental pond but has been
stocked with carp, rudd, tench, bream and gudgeon  several years ago, and
it is these fish that provide the sport for anglers. The depths vary from very
shallow to several feet and a plan to desilt the shallower parts is in the
pipeline. The lower pond, once a swimming pool is in the process of being
renovated as a community fishery controlled by the club and will provide an
important fishery for our anglers in the future.
