Parc Newydd Fishing AreaThe first part of this exciting project has been completed with a couple of days work by the committee and BTCV to clear the area where the path and pegs will be constructed. Funding has been secured by BTCV for both this and for the construction of two disabled fishing platforms at the Pill terrace area. The work to create the path and pegs will be done partly by BTCV and partly by the club so it is important that as many members as possible help the club in the work to be done in the next few weeks. Watch out for news of work parties and contact the committee if you feel able to help. March 09 Work to complete the pegs and maintain the path has been delayed, but should be completed shortly. Anglers are still fishing the canal here and catching fish.
